I've been programming computers for over 30 years and I built my first website when we were still using Mosaic and Lynx and Netscape had just come out with version one of their browser, for which I actually paid money. Microsoft hadn't even thought about doing anything on the web, yet. I've read a couple of dozen books on creating and designing websites, hundreds of magazine articles and numerous tutorials. I've read books on programming CGI interfaces to make dynamic websites. I've studied websites and newsletters concerning search engines, keywords, and the techniques of finding niche markets by researching keywords looking for high demand by web surfers and low supply by other webmasters. And I've consistently done it the hard way. Up until recently, that was the only way to really make a website that would get your name in front of the visitors, and it takes real time and effort to accomplish.
